I loved the complimentary cake and coffee in the lounge at 4pm. The guy at reception was super helpful when we had trouble checking in. There were cozy spots to relax, including a great leisure room and a comfy TV area. It was a bit noisy at night, making it hard to sleep, but overall, I had a wonderful stay. 😊

we had a great time at bike & boot! the lounge area was super cozy with free coffee n cake, perfect for meetin fellow travelers. the room was spacious and comfy for our stay and our dog loved the fluffy mat they left for him! the staff were really friendly and helpful. the free movie room was a fun addition too!
only downside was the check-in process felt a bit impersonal with the tablet thing. also, the restaurant ran out of some drinks during our stay.

The small double room featured a quirky design, with sturdy furnishings that exuded a laid-back charm. Convenient proximity to local trails made it an ideal launch point for outdoor adventures.
Check-in involved a digital machine, lacking personal touch, which felt a bit cold. No wifi code in the room led to an unnecessary search for help, while the hospitality tray had just a couple of coffee pods—barely enough given the room rate. The mini bar contained mouldy cans, raising concerns about cleanliness. For a solo female traveler, being placed far from the main area next to a quiet fire exit felt unsafe and should be reconsidered for better guest placement. Noisy groups outside kept me awake, and busy road traffic made for additional disruption at peak times. Although it was clean, it seemed overpriced for the limited amenities compared to other options nearby with better breakfast offerings.

Great vibes and fab food!
We had a blast here! The location was spot on for exploring the Peak District. Loved the dog-friendly atmosphere, even though we didn’t bring our pup. The restaurant served really tasty food, and that free cake in the afternoon? What a sweet surprise! Just wish the mini fridge was stocked, though.

The hotel was quite modern and clean with a comfy room, but the automated check-in felt a bit tricky for me. The staff were friendly and genuinely loved dogs overall. Just wish the blind in my room was a better fit for those bright mornings!

great access to stunning peaks and historical sites
The hotel is just a short walk from beautiful spots like Win Hill and Peveril Castle, making it perfect for city strolls and exploring landmarks that capture the area's rich history. I also appreciated the comfortable room and the smooth check-in process, which made settling in a breeze. As a solo traveler, I found the hospitality pleasant, but the footpath from the station could use some improvement.

The food at the restaurant was spot on, with a great selection and the staff were simply fabulous, really keen to help. Love the cozy lounge spot to unwind with free coffee and cake after a long day!
A bit of a miss not having air-con for a new hotel. Plus, that banging door noise was a right nuisance at night, and that cheeky fire alarm flashing? Not ideal for a good night's sleep.
